| Codi is my 6 yr old Greater Swiss Mtn Dog. He is my first and last swissy as they definately broke the mold when they made him. He is my heart dog, my soul mate. There will never be another one like him, and I don't even want to try. We have a bond with each other that will never be reproduced with any dog I may ever have in the future. At first Codi was just my friend and companion, but soon after his first birthday I was bitten by the obedience bug and began training him to compete. While that is still a dream not realized, we have found our niche in rally obedience. |
| Our first accomplishment was earned at the age of 1 year, where we (really he) passed his Canine Good Citizen test. With a face like this, is it a surprise that he passed?This test is a series of behaviors such as sitting politely for petting and brushing, walking through a crowd just to name a few. The purpose of this test is to demonstrate that your dog can be well behaved in a public situation. You can find out more information at www.akc.org |
| 2007 was a great year for us. Not only did we finish our APDT Level 2 Championship in April at Sussex Cty Fairgrounds, we also earned our ARCH! ARCH stands for APDT Rally Champion. Then on December 31st we earned our ARCH X at St Hubert's in Madison NJ! Talk about ending the year in style! So for 2008, we can concentrate on earning that Level 3 title then work on ARCHEX. On the AKC front, we made our debut in AKC rally this year as well quickly earning our Novice Rally title in three shows. And in 2008 we'll work on earning our Advanced & Excellent titles as well. |
